Pramod Madhwaraj

Managing Partner

Mr. Pramod Madhwaraj, born on 17.10.1968 to Late M. Madhwaraj and Mrs. Manorama Madhwaraj, is an young enterprising entrepreneur, very well known locally for his integrity and passion towards work. He has studied Engineering in Karnataka Regional Engineering College, Surathkal.
  • Presently, he is a Member of Legislative Assembly and also the Minister of State for Fisheries, Youth Development and Sports.
  • He has served as Vice President of D.K. Dist. NSUI and Secretary of State Youth Congress, was elected the youngest president of D.K. Mogaveera Mahajana Sangha, the apex body of fishermen at the age of 28 years.
  • Still continuing to serve the fishermen communuity and was the president of Coastal Fishermen Action Committee, a confederation of 55 various fishermen organizations.
  • He was instrumental in increasing the diesel subsidy of Government of Karnataka for fisheries from Rs. 50 lakhs to Rs. 25 crores per year for 7 years.
  • He was instrumental in increasing the diesel subsidy from Government of India from Rs. 1 crore per year to Rs. 7 crores, thus saving mechanized fishing from total destruction due to severe hike in fuel charges.
  • Conducted boat race in the Malpe sea for the first time in the Country in 1992 drawing a huge crowd of over one lakh people.
  • Holding various other posts in the field of religious, social, political and sports activities.

Mr. Pramod Madhwaraj is a dynamic person and a businessman with foresight. He is also considered a youth icon of Malpe, having achieved a lot in his young age. He was mainly responsible for modernization of fishmeal industry in coastal Karnataka. His grandfather late. Muttappa Saukar and father late. Malpe Madhwaraj were well known for their liberal outlook and advancement of fishing industry in Malpe. Being a young and dynamic leader of fishermen in Coastal Karnataka with the Engineering background, Mr.Pramod Madhwaraj has the acumen inherited from his illustrious family.

Mrs Supriya Pramodraj, is one of the partners and the Chief Executive Officer of Raj Fishmeal and Oil Company. She took over the reins of the company from her husband, Sri Pramod Madhwaraj (Managing Partner), after he decided to pursue his passion to serve people in the field of politics. Her vision is to elevate the company from being one of the best in Asia to one of the best companies in the world in providing seamless quality of nourishing feeds to meet Client requirements in the EU Markets.

She has been responsible for the Operational turnaround of the company in a short span of one year. Revamping old procedures, up-gradation of Production Capacity, improvisation of Quality Control and Warehousing. implementation of Comprehensive Training Program to employees in order to upgrade the company to comply with the latest Certification requirements, are some of the many steps taken by her. She opines that in order to be the best, leadership skills of individuals are of utmost importance. She has been consistently empowering employees, building teams and nurturing them to shoulder higher responsibilities in the company.

Mrs Supriya Pramodraj started her career as a Marketing Officer in one of the renowned Telecommunication Company in Mumbai. She received her Masters in Business Administration (Marketing) from Manipal University, Manipal and has earned her Diploma in Travel and Tourism from IATA, Mumbai. Born and brought up in Mumbai, the Financial Capital of India, she completed her schooling from St Louis Convent High School Mumbai and holds her Bachelor Degree in Commerce from Mumbai University. With her experience and diverse background she leads a team of dedicated employees who extend their unconditional support to improve, to grow and to achieve.

Born in little temple town of Udupi in Karnataka, Ms. Pratyaksha completed her schooling in Little Rock Indian School Brahmavar in Udupi. Post school she took up Commerce and Economics as an intermediate course of study at Poorna Prajna Pre-University College. She has been a bright student at her studies, securing over 90 percentage in her SSC and HSC. Currently, Ms. Pratyaksha is pursuing her 5-year integrated degree in Business Administration and Law (BBA & LLB) from Symbiosis Law School, Pune.

Ms. Pratyaksha aspires to be deeply involved with Raj Fishmeal and Oil Company after her graduation and bring in new ideas in to the management. Her intellectual skills, fresh outlook and hardworking abilities will be a great boon to the company’s future plans.
